What should I do to prepare for the abortion procedure?

You should wear comfortable clothes and pack your personal items. You should also refrain from aspirin for 48 hours as well. Please refrain from eating on the same day, as you should have an empty stomach for the procedure.
What should I expect at the hospital?

What should I do after the abortion?
You should take all the medications that are given to you. Your menstrual cycle may be later or earlier than expected and slightly heavier, but it will regulate. You should begin contraception following the abortion because the ovulation process will resume.
In order to prevent infection you should take the following steps for 2 weeks.
- No intercourse or douche
- Do not go swimming or take a bath in the tub
