With your first obstetrician consultation, you and your husband will be learning about planning and preparing for your baby.
A thorough examination will determine certain specific diet and exercise prerequisites to ensure a trouble free pregnancy and natural delivery.

These classes will teach you various exercises to strengthen the muscles used during delivery, breath controls, and pain diversion techniques to help keep you focused and harmonious with the baby’s journey into the world.
We will also teach you about the delivery itself, to become familiar with an amazing process.
Lastly, we provide classes in how to care for your new baby.
We spare no effort in preparing you with the knowledge that has come into our hands in the past 30 years, and enjoy sharing the benefits of what we have learned.
The Delivery
When labor begins and you arrive at Genesis Hospital, our nurses will escort you to your private delivery room and begin preparations for delivery.
With preparations complete, you can invite your husband to participate in the delivery, and, because he received high marks in class, his presence is more than welcome.
We’ve seen how helpful husbands can be. They even make our work easier, not to mention yours!
Your obstetrician will be on hand to check on your condition and the baby’s progress.
With all the preparation you and your husband have made, your baby’s delivery will be smooth and relatively pain free.
At the moment the baby arrives, the necessary procedures will be accomplished and you and your husband will be presented with the brand new life you’ve waited to hold all these months. Congratulations!
Recovery
A lovely room is ready for you, your baby and your husband to have time alone to enjoy a visit with your little one, listening to the sounds coming from a happy mouth.
The nurses will continue to assist as you need them and your baby’s doctor will be performing tests to be certain that all is well.
With the test results in order, your pediatrician will discuss the baby’s general health with you and your husband.
After three days of being pampered and waited on by our caring nursing staff, you are ready to take the baby home and cherish the presence of the newest member of your family.
With warm wishes, extended by our staff and Director Dr. A. M. Patil to see you on your way, your stay with us is complete.
Post Natal Program
Our Well Baby/Well Mother Program will be available when you return with your baby for your first postnatal checkup.
Both doctors have put you and your baby on a specific nutrition course to help you recover and your baby to grow.
