Adult Circumcision

Adult circumcision is a lot different than circumcisions that are performed on babies or young children. If an adult chooses to have a circumcision, then there is usually a reason that he made this decision. This might be something that he is trying to eliminate or something that he is trying to prevent, but there is a good chance that something actually happened that made him actively decide to have the procedure or at the very least made him decide to consider having the circumcision.

Circumcision refers to the procedure performed, hopefully by a doctor, who will remove all or a part of the foreskin from the man’s penis. Because it is a procedure being performed on a very sensitive part of the man’s anatomy, many men do not like thinking about having it done and might even rule it out as a possibility. While it is true that it will likely be painful, for a lot of men, the benefits, of which there are many, far outweigh the pain of the procedure in the long run.

There are actually a lot of benefits to having a circumcision and most of these still apply to adult circumcisions. In other words, for a lot of the benefits, there is no need to have the procedure as a baby or child. You can get the benefits of the procedure at any age.

Some of the best benefits that might draw an adult to the procedure are its help at reducing and eliminating painful and bothersome disorders such as Balinitis and Phimosis. These are two disorders affecting the penis that can, over the long run, actually be more irritating than the temporary pain associated with the circumcision.

Balinitis is a disorder that causes the head of the penis, or part of it, to become red, inflamed, itchy, and have a burning sensation. For whatever reason, removing the foreskin can actually make this stop or at least be reduced. There are many possibilities for why this is, but one is that without the foreskin, the area is easier to clean, and thus there are fewer places for germs and bacteria to reside.

Phimosis is a disorder that occurs when the foreskin becomes fused to the penis, making it impossible or hard to bend or move, causing a lot of discomfort. For more obvious reasons, removing the foreskin helps eliminate the problem.

An adult circumcision can be a scary thought, but it can be a good idea. Having a circumcision as an adult can be a very beneficial procedure.

    • Hi There,

I hope I am connecting with a lady Doctor.

      This is about my fiance.

His foreskin used to come in the way of our intimacy and I started insisting that he keeps it retracted all the time. This solved the problem and it was more hygenic too.

My friend’s boyfriend got circumcised recently and she is very happy with it. She gave me your reference.

My boyfriend will be in Bangalore next month and I will convince him to have this surgery for me.

      Some questions-

      1. What will it cost to have a scar less operation?
      2. I would prefer that he has a tight circumcision. Is this possible?

      Thank you

    • Dear sir

I am a 50 year old adult male. Diabetic but controlled. In Jan 2018, I had a by pass surgery which was succesful (thank God).

I am on diabetic medication, but the current issue is that I have Genital Warts and my foreskin is swollen. My doctor here advised me that the best option is to get the circumcision done as this will solve a lot of issues.

I am looking for hospitals in Bangalore and Kerala and happened to see yours. I need to know a quote for this procedure.

Please reply as soon as possible.

      Regards
      Ninan
